Privacy Policy

Summary: CalmBack is designed to be local-first. No account is required. Mood logs, journal notes, Night Spiral sessions, saved patterns, preferences, and spiritual reflections are stored locally on your device unless a feature clearly says otherwise.

1. Who we are

CalmBack is operated by IFORGEAPPS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17160532.

2. No account required

CalmBack does not require an iForge Apps account, username, or password. If a future version uses an Apple sign-in flow for optional features, that will be explained in the app before use.

4. No selling data or cross-app tracking

CalmBack does not sell user data. CalmBack does not track users across apps and websites. CalmBack is not designed around advertising profiles, targeted ads, or cross-app tracking.

5. Optional Apple Health

Apple Health access is optional. CalmBack reads heart rate and heart rate variability only if you grant permission. CalmBack writes mindful minutes and mood check-ins only if you grant permission.

Apple Health data is used locally for CalmBack features and is not used for advertising, tracking, or sale. You can change Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app.

6. Optional microphone and speech

Microphone and speech access is used only for dictation in companion chat if you grant permission. Audio is not sent to iForge Apps. Speech dictation is optional and can be controlled through iOS permissions.

7. Diagnostics

Sentry may collect crash, performance, and diagnostic data so we can fix bugs and improve reliability. CalmBack configures diagnostics to avoid screenshots, default personal identifiers, and automatic breadcrumb tracking. Diagnostics are not intended to include personal journal content, mood logs, spiritual reflections, or Night Spiral session content.

8. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple StoreKit. CalmBack does not see or store payment details such as card numbers. Apple manages payment processing, receipts, refunds, and subscription status through your Apple Account.

9. Support messages

If you email support, we receive the email address, message, device details, screenshots, or files you choose to send. Please do not send private journal entries, mood logs, or sensitive spiritual reflections unless needed for support.

10. Deleting data

If a reset option is available in CalmBack, use Settings > Reset app data. Deleting the app from your device also removes local app data, subject to normal iOS behaviour. Apple may retain App Store, TestFlight, purchase, crash, or diagnostic records under its own policies.
