Subscription and restore purchases
CalmBack+ subscriptions are handled by Apple StoreKit. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings. If you already subscribed, use Restore Purchases in the app when available. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Apple Health permissions
Apple Health is optional. CalmBack reads heart rate and heart rate variability only if permission is granted, and writes mindful minutes and mood check-ins only if permission is granted. You can change access in iOS Settings or the Health app.
Audio/background sound issues
Check volume, Silent mode, Focus settings, Bluetooth output, and any audio permissions shown by iOS. If a halal nature soundscape or background does not load, restart the app and email support with your device and app version.
Data export
CalmBack Free includes raw data export. Export options, where available, are intended to help you keep a copy of your own local mood reflections and insight data.
Delete data
If a reset option is available, use Settings > Reset app data. Deleting CalmBack from your device also removes local app data, subject to normal iOS behaviour. Apple may retain App Store, TestFlight, purchase, crash, or diagnostic records under its own policies.
Privacy and speech dictation
No account is required. Mood logs, journal notes, Night Spiral sessions, saved patterns, preferences, and spiritual reflections are stored locally on your device unless clearly stated. Speech dictation is used only if you grant permission, and audio is not sent to iForge Apps.
Crisis support
CalmBack is not emergency support. If you feel at risk of harming yourself or someone else, seek urgent help from local emergency services or a trusted person immediately.
CalmBack is a wellness, reflection, and remembrance tool. It is not therapy, medical advice, a diagnosis tool, or a replacement for professional care.
