Terms of Use
Plain English: CalmBack is a wellness, reflection, and remembrance tool. It is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, emergency support, or a religious ruling service.
1. The app and its purpose
CalmBack is a private Islamic calm companion for worry, overthinking, stress, and late-night anxiety. It includes Night Spiral Rescue, Qur'an and dua reminders, guided breathing, halal nature soundscapes, scenic backgrounds, optional Apple Health, optional speech dictation, local-first mood reflection, and clear crisis safety.
2. Not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, emergency support, or religious rulings
CalmBack is a wellness and reflection tool, not medical advice, therapy, counselling, diagnosis, emergency support, or a religious ruling service. CalmBack does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure anxiety, panic disorder, depression, trauma, insomnia, or any medical condition.
Do not use CalmBack as a substitute for professional care. Users should seek professional medical help or emergency help when needed. If you feel at risk of harming yourself or someone else, seek urgent help from local emergency services or a trusted person immediately.
3. Content
Qur'an, dua, Hadith, Imam Ali wisdom, Ihsan/Tazkiyah, universal reflections, audio, and background assets are provided for reflection and support. CalmBack does not issue fatwas or personalised religious rulings. For religious rulings or personal religious guidance, consult a qualified scholar.
4. No guarantee of outcomes
CalmBack may support guided calm, remembrance, reflection, emotional reset, and sleep support, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome, feeling, spiritual state, health result, sleep result, or reduction in symptoms.
5. Subscriptions
CalmBack+ is billed through Apple. Subscriptions may include monthly or yearly plans and may include a free trial when offered in the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple ID settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies.
- CalmBack does not process or store payment card details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse CalmBack, attempt to reverse-engineer it, interfere with its operation, use it for unlawful purposes, or use it as a substitute for urgent medical, therapeutic, crisis, or religious professional support.
7. Apple terms
CalmBack may be distributed through TestFlight and the App Store. Your use of Apple services, Apple ID, StoreKit, subscriptions, refunds, and device permissions is also subject to Apple's own terms and policies.
8. Intellectual property
The CalmBack app, design, code, copy, audio, icon, original reflections, and original assets are owned by IFORGEAPPS LTD or its licensors. Qur'an text, traditional duas, and traditional dhikr phrases are not claimed as our original authorship.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IFORGEAPPS LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or profits arising from use of CalmBack.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes may be noted in the app or on this page. Continued use of CalmBack after changes means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
